FutureCurious.org exists to help people navigate today's converging crises with clarity, compassion, and dignity.
Through this website, Eric Garza hosts online events to build community among those ready to ask big questions, explore root causes, sit with messy predicaments, and experiment with potential responses.
Many years ago a Zen Master invited Eric to make curiosity the central focus of his contemplative practice.
She first taught him to become aware of his inner world. Conversations with teachers, and with other students, soon expanded his awareness to the many converging crises that define our era.
Through FutureCurious.org, Eric offers accessibly-priced courses designed with the level of sophistication one would expect of an upper-tier research university. Courses are developed for lifelong learners, but are also a cost-effective way to supplement a high school, college, or university curriculum.
Eric is FutureCurious.org's founding and primary instructor. He welcomes opportunities to collaborate with others who share this institution's mission to expand our course and media offerings. To chat with him about potential collaborations, email eric@futurecurious.org.
Although Eric does have a doctorate and a faculty appointment at a degree granting university, this institution is not accredited, does not offer degrees, and its courses currently do not earn participants credit towards any accredited degree program.
FutureCurious.org currently operates as a Limited Liability Corporation based in the US state of Vermont.
